All signs lead to Lido

It's been way too long since my last post. I've been in Melbourne for a week for my wonderful friend's wedding. But now let's get back to Bangkok fashion with some info on Lido Theatre. Located in Siam Square, it has been one of my usual shopping destinations for over 10 years.

It plays indie films and has shops on the upper and ground floor levels, but the real treasures are found in the outside sois that frame the building.

Where: Lido Theatre, Siam Square

What: Dresses, skirts, pants, blazers, leather, feathers, lace, copies of BCBG dresses, unique imports from H&M and designer knockoff sandals and heels

Three adjacent shops are pictured below - Sweet Room, Morning Call..., and Tiny. Shop at these 3 little alcoves of fashion for unique pieces you need NOW and you aren't willing to wait until that summer trip to the UK to buy for 1/8 of the price. In other words, the clothes are super cute but a tad over priced... expect to see price tags of 3,000-4,000Baht for dresses, upwards of 2,000Baht for blazers and at least 1,000Baht for tops. Try bargaining but you won't get too far. There's hiso girls willing to pay cold hard cash!
