About

I'm half Thai, half American living in Bangkok, working in the marketing communications industry and writing on the side. I love to shop (obivously), write, and discover new sides to this crazy City of Angels. I've been exploring Bangkok since my teenage years, from racks of second hand shoes in Chatuchak to the latest store openings in Paragon, and there's always something new to discover.

This blog started as an idea I had while browsing through the closet-sized boutiques in Siam Square, where many Thai designers got their start. It's still one of my favorite places to shop. I know that if I wear an outfit from one of these eclectic shops no one else will have the same look. I love to find new up and coming brands, second hand treasures and great bargains and I want to share these alternatives to name-brand shopping with the world.

I write this blog to uncover not-so-well-known shopping gems around Bangkok and make them accessible for Bangkokians and tourists alike. Along the way, I hope I can provide some context in Thai culture, some analysis of the trend and fashion scene and some reviews of interesting nightlife spots.

Any suggestions of places for me to check out or questions about Bangkok? I'd love to hear from you!

Connect with me on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram!

Hello,

I am hoping that you can help by pointing out any good tailor that can make dress from sequin?

I need it for my sister's Studio 54 wedding in early December.

Thank you very much for your time.
